About Me
Hi my name is Michelle Wright and I have recently embarked on a learning journey with Central Queensland University, Australia to gain my qualifications for teaching. I have a science background and I am very passionate about conservation of our natural resources through education. I believe in educating students at a young age about our environment and how to respect and conserve our precious resources. On a more personal note I would like to say I have a beautiful, wonderful family life with my two children Lily (age 6) and Oscar (age 4) and my partner Alastair. We live in Sarina on 5 acres and love camping, swimming and playing at the beach and generally any outdoor activities. We have travelled as a family tenting around Australia from Mackay across the middle to far north Western Australia where we fell in love with the Kimberley and stayed to work for a while. We then travelled down the west coast, to Esperance and across the bottom to the Eyre Peninsula and finally back home. Travelling taught me to appreciate the diversity of people and places in Australia. I can't wait to share my experiences and love of Australia's beautiful environment in the classroom.
